backpacking Cascades

We are Jim and Debbie, a couple of full-time RVers living in a 25' Airstream trailer. We've been on the road full-time since February 4, 2008 plus nine weeks in 2007.

We hope our website supports folks interested in full-timing, those already full-timing, or is at least interesting reading for some. We share a lot of details about how we do this and how it works out for us. If you don't find what you're looking for, we'd appreciate a note from you so we can improve this totally non-commercial site.

You can navigate our website with the hot buttons at your screen's left side. Below we've included a little explanation of some of these choices.

Initially we were recording our experiences, with photos, here on a page on this website. We started journalling and blogging in WordPress August 2008. The stories since August 2008 are in our Wordpress pages

We've included complete information about how we do health insurance (how long before this changes?) and other topics on our FAQ page.

Jim explains a lot of the equipment we carry on our home improvements page, and we continue to update this whenever we can.

We've had fun with a page we added late 2008, Lifestyle, with more personal details like music, books, movies, clothes, expenses, and what stuff we wish we had (and had not) brought with us.

A couple of other pages may interest some of you and completely bore others. We are both licensed amateur radio operators. It is very helpful at times and is a lot of fun. Why Amateur Radio?

We belong to the Airstream Owners Association, WBCCI, so we include a page on why we think WBCCI is, for us, the best part of Airstreaming.
